The mission of the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute is to share knowledge.
Part of this mission is inter alia publication of scientific monographs presenting scientific achievements and technological solutions regarding the oil and gas sector as well as in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation, primarily in Poland.
Through its publishing and distribution of scientific information, INiG – PIB carries out its mission increasing the competitiveness of domestic industrial enterprises involved in the hydrocarbon life cycle, acting to increase energy and public safety, and - which is particularly important in terms of ecology - identifying and reducing threats to the natural environment associated with the extraction of hydrocarbons, their processing and use of petroleum products.
