The Oil and Gas Institute is authorized to:
- carry out evaluation procedures in respect of the compliance with EU directives (identification No. 1450);
- carry out inspections of biocomponents under the state system of biocomponent quality control, in accordance with the Act on Biocomponents and Liquid Biofuels, of August 25, 2006, and the Regulation of Minister of Economy of March 19, 2010;
- carry out the obligatory and voluntary certification of gas, gas-electrical and electrical appliances (PCA accreditation certificate No. AC 010);
- carry out the certification of Management Systems; PCA accreditation certificate No. 116;
- issue the Technical Approvals for construction products used in gaseous fuel networks and installations (Journal of Laws of November 23, 2004, No. 249, item 2497).
