Rights and obligations of the Editorial Committee

Rights
1. The editors have the right to check the submitted texts with an anti-plagiarism system at every stage of publishing.
2. Editors have the right to edit the submitted text, after receiving a positive opinion from the Scientific Council and two reviewers, but this will be done in full consultation and cooperation with the author.
3. Editors have the right to telephone contact, by e-mail and traditional mail with the author of the text submitted to the Publisher.
4. The editors have the right to report incidents of violation of ethical principles or originality of the submitted text to the appropriate institutions.

 

Obligations
1. The editors are obliged to comply with the ethical principles set by the Publisher.
2. The editorial staff takes care of the constant development of the publishing house.
3. The editors are obliged to receive the texts and submit them to the Editor-in-Chief or his deputy for an opinion.
4. The editors are obliged to make every effort to ensure efficient cooperation with the authors and co-workers (Scientific Council, Editor-in-Chief, deputy Editor-in-Chief, thematic editors, reviewers, proofreading, DTP composition) taking part in the publishing process of a given manuscript.
5. Editors have the responsibility to coordinate editorial work, including contacts with reviewers, and communication between authors and reviewers (if necessary).
6. The editors are obliged to keep confidentiality related to the publishing process of a given specialist publication.

 

Rights and obligations of the thematic editors

Rights

The thematic editors of the Nafta-Gaz monthly journal have the right to direct or indirect (through the Editorial) contact with the author of the reviewed text. They also have the right to choose the form of material delivery for evaluation (paper printout, electronic version: editable file in * .doc, * .docx format or in * .pdf format). The Thematic Editors should inform the Editorial about the choice of the right form.

Obligations

The thematic editors of the INiG-PIB Publishing Houses are required to:
• comply with ethical principles set by the Publisher,
• evaluate each special publication submitted for issue in electronic form, within 15 business days of the receipt of the text,
• give a written opinion on the material for specialist publiacion sent to the Editorial Office.
