Technical Approval Section, on the basis of the
authorization given to the Institute by the Minister of Infrastructure
is issuing technical approvals for building products applied in
networks and utilities of fuel gas.
The scope of works of the Technical Approval Section
includes:

verification of applications for issuing the
technical approval;
-
drawing up and issuing new technical approvals;
-
widening the range of issued approvals, extending
their validity, withdrawing approvals after their expiry date
In the course of issuing of technical approvals the
Section takes the advantage of consultancy and expert opinions of
members the Committee of Technical Approvals, consisted of the gas
industry experts.
Up to the year 2008 the Technical Approval Section
issued 299 technical approvals as well as amended the validity and
widened the range of 257 approvals.
