Department of Petroleum Products Performance Evaluation (TE)
Scope of activity:

-
testing of the motor fuel
performance in LO, LC, Mercedes M102 and M111, Peugeot XUD9 engines;
-
determination of oxidation stability
of biofuels (the Rancimat method);
-
evaluation of the performance of
fuels and lubricating oils in vehicle fleet testing;
-
evaluation of specific
physicochemical properties of fuels and lubricants (elastomer compatibility,
corrosion control, water reaction, oxidation stability, antifoam performance,
storage stability);
-
assessment of diesel fuel lubricity
(HFRR test) and antiwear properties of lubricants and hydraulic fluids;
-
determination of contaminants in
fuels and lubricants;
-
determination of rheological
properties of oils at various temperatures (CCS, HTHS, MRV, Brookfield methods);
-
evaluation of compatibility of
additives with fuels and lubricants;
-
evaluation of the degree of
lubricating oil degradation in bench testing and during lubricant service;
-
evaluation of the performance of
passive regeneration-type diesel particulate filters in diesel engine.
