Department of Flow Metrology (GM)
Scope of activity:

-
research works for gas companies
concerning the accuracy and safety of the of gas volume measurement (testing
the quality of gas meters, estimation of unbilled amount of gas, billing
systems analysis, analysis of gas stations, estimation of uncertainty in
measurement);
-
the department is accredited by the
Polish Center for Accreditation (accreditation No. AB 041 – and is authorized
to test and asses;
-
gas meters (including the assessment
of compliance with the Directive MID (Module B) No 2004/22/EC - the Notified
Body number 1450):
-
rotary displacement gas meters ,
according to PN-EN 12480;
-
turbine gas meters, according to
PN-EN 12261;
-
diaphragm gas meters according to
PN-EN 1359 (including testing of resistance of the diaphragm gas meters to
neodymium magnets function);
-
resistance: protective coatings to
corrosion, salt mist, humidity, impact, scratch, chemical resistance to
liquids;
-
connections to diaphragm gas meters,
gas cabinets with equipment (for technical approvals), and gas meter
connectors;
-
gas equipment and fittings for
resistance to high temperature (up to 1000°C, at gauge pressure up to 6 bar);
-
and also giving services in:
